After Richard’s grandson was placed in his care, he realized he did not have the basic necessities to care for him. After hearing about our resource program, Richard made the trip from Oracle to Aviva to share his story and ask for a bit of help. We learned that not only were Richard and his wife caring for their grandson, but they were caring for an older grandchild as well. We loaded him up with clothing, shoes, hygiene items, diapers, and socks. Upon receiving these items, Richard shed tears of gratitude.
Because of our generous donors, we were not only able to provide Richard with the items from our resource closet, but we were also able to provide him and his family with groceries, a car seat, and hair accessories. Thank you, Aviva supporters, for helping us make this possible.
