Aviva provides trauma-informed counseling, crisis intervention, and family support to help children and families navigate challenges. Our services promote emotional well-being, stability, and resilience for those impacted by foster care and difficult life transitions.
Aviva Emergency Resource Closet provides clothing, hygiene kits, school supplies, and basic necessities to support children entering the foster care system. Available to DCS,Foster Parents & Kinship Placements and licensed workers, ensuring kids have what they need during difficult transitions.
We help kinship families and foster caregivers access critical resources, education, and community support to navigate the child welfare system, ensuring children in their care receive stability and security.
We are dedicated to supporting the emotional well-being and mental health of children in foster care. Our trauma-informed behavioral health services are designed to help children and families navigate the challenges they face, ensuring that every child receives the care and support they need to heal and thrive.
Our Emergency Resource Closet provides new and gently used clothing, socks, underwear, hygiene kits, diapers, household cleaning supplies, school supplies, and other essential items for children in foster care. These resources are available to foster parents, kinship foster parents, DCS Workers & foster care licensing workers, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
We strive to stabilizes kinship and foster families by connecting them to essential community resources and services. Focused on the child and family unit, we provide in-home support and guidance to help families navigate the Department of Child Safety, behavioral health, and educational systems. Our services include ongoing support throughout the foster care and adoption process, such as home assessments, family support before and after placement, monitoring of the home environment, training, licensing, and certification. Our goal is to strengthen and stabilize kinship families, ensuring they have the tools and resources needed to thrive.
An initial in-home evaluation for children entering into the Department of Child Safety custody. Clinicians will assess immediate needs and triage any crisis or trauma-related issues. Includes behavioral health evaluation, screening for developmental delays, support to child/family placement (see back page for more information) and connection to ongoing services.
We provide comprehensive behavioral health support tailored to the unique needs of children, youth, and families. Our services address emotional and developmental challenges through evidence-based therapies, case management, and educational resources.
