Our History

Founded in 1978

Founded by a group of concerned citizens, Aviva Children’s Services was created in response to gaps in Arizona’s foster care system. Recognizing an opportunity to make a difference, Aviva worked to meet the unmet needs of foster families, stepping in to support them as needed.

July 2019

Aviva became a wholly owned subsidiary of Easterseals Blake Foundation. Aviva Children’s Services Center established itself as a trusted behavioral health provider, supporting system partners such as the Department of Child Safety, foster care health plans, schools, law enforcement, and families throughout risk, removal, and reunification processes.
