We discovered that he and his wife were not only caring for their young grandson but also an older grandchild. Aviva staff provided them with clothing, shoes, hygiene items, diapers, and socks—essentials to help ease their journey. Overcome with emotion, Richard shed tears of gratitude, knowing his grandchildren would have what they needed.

After being removed from her home, Janie was awaiting placement with a foster family. She had spent the entire year preparing for her orchestra concert, only to realize she didn’t have the black dress she needed to perform. Heartbroken, she feared she would have to miss the event.
When Aviva staff heard her story, they immediately took action. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we were able to deliver a dress to Janie that very day—one that fit her perfectly. That evening, she took the stage alongside her orchestra peers, dressed with confidence and ready to shine.

Erika faced the daunting challenge of navigating the Arizona foster care system to bring her grandchildren back to her home state. It was a complicated process that took nearly nine months, and Erika felt overwhelmed by the many steps involved.
But with Aviva Children’s Services by her side, she didn’t have to face it alone. Our dedicated staff supported Erika throughout the entire journey, providing guidance, resources, and the encouragement she needed to make the necessary arrangements.
