The annual Aviva Backpack Drive Thru is in the books,and because of very generous community partners like Sturgeon Electric, Banner University Family Care-Long Term Care Program, BWS Architects, Hensley Beverage Company, The Physio Shop, Rincon Research, Christ the King Episcopal Church, TCR II Suspension, a.23 Studios and community members like YOU, over 1200 backpacks were given out to Arizona children in foster care.
These partnerships all worked to help ease the stress children feel when starting school or even starting over in a new school for the first, second, or even fourth time. With appropriate uniforms, school supplies, and backpacks, these children will be able to blend in with their peers and start the new year prepared and confident.
